I build hyper fast engineering systems for engineers to do real time stress analysis using ProE or Catia and the latest system I just build using all NVME drives RAID 10 and very high end board and peripherials….I tested this thing as a way to boot from it so system owner could use Imbutu, Windows (10 or 11) and I am highlly impressed with the speed — Crystal Disk showed over this thing read/write speed equal to Samsung Top of the line Pro series NVME drives that are directly attached to PCI-E 16 bus! Short USB C length
Nice looking, very small. Might be easy to lose so attach a string/lanyard to it quickly.One issue, I bought it mainly to use on a cell phone.Unfortunately the length of the USB 3 connector is shorter than most others by a millimeter or so, and the case is a bit wider.This makes the USB Drive probably unsuitable for many cell phones with a case on them. I could not get a good connection just kept falling out of the phone which has a reasonable protective case on it. Other USB C drives have worked well on the same phone so this issue was unexpected.Works well on my computer however.

It’s a usb flash drive it does what it’s suppose to do, I’d say the only draw back is how small it is. I have multiple of these, or at least I used to, set it down or misplace it once and it might be misplaced for a while before you find it again.

Unreliable keyring attachment, but great otherwise
I like everything about it except the delicacy of the key ring attachment, which broke the other day. I didn’t pull anything very hard, but found the pieces on the ground, thankfully right in my entryway.As Tony DiMancari’s great review notes (with pictures), a NITE Ize locking s-biner can be used to lock both parts to a keyring, so that you can open it up. But again, you risk ripping off the very thin strip forming the top of the hole. If it was a millimeter thicker all would be well.

Sometimes My MacBook Air Doesn’t Recognize it
I’d have to say that I’ve had several USB C flash drives from several different brands, this one is by far the best in that it’s the only one that DOESN’T seem to run hot like fire. My Samsung one got damaged (by me due to carelessness) and I bought a Sandisk one for the convenience of switching between computers but it runs so hot (extremely hot to the touch)I rarely leave it plugged in. I will probably buy another one of these since it doesn’t run hot, the only issue I noticed was that sometimes my MacBook didn’t recognize it, but that hardly happened.

Slippery
Besides the smooth hard to grip and grab surface of the USB C this flash drive is awesome. The read write speeds are good and I’m able to transfer photos and docs from my phone to my laptop with ease. I have a USB C port on the left side of my laptop and this flash drive works great with it and it is fast. It is at a good price point as well and I can highly recommend this product.

Perfect drive for Mercedes GLE
I own a 2024 Mercedes GLE. This vehicle can record an internal “dash cam” using the car’s built-in cameras, but needs a flash drive to plug into one of the car’s C-drives to record on. This drive’s write and read speed works perfectly with the Mercedes system, not to mention the flash’s compact size makes it a more secure fit up that does not get in the way. I would definitely recommend to my friends.

Very tiny and fast!
This tiny USB stick is incredibly fast. With my Samsung S22+ I didn’t get the 11 sec as advertised for 4 GB files but it is still a very fast device. I compared this one against another 3.0 USB Photo Stick and wow, this one is less expensive but super fast. For a 2.4 GB file, it took 24 seconds to copy from my S22+ to the USB stick while for the other USB stick it took 2 minutes and 45 seconds. For a 8.45 GB folder, it took 1 minute 32 seconds vs. 10 minutes and 28 seconds. I love to travel and take videos. This USB stick will make my life very easy while I am away from my laptop. I will get a second one as a backup.

Best USB-C flash drive I’ve found so far.
I use my phone for video camera work. For context, I bought a 1TB phone specifically because of that. I may take 250-300GB of video in one weekend. MTP is far too pathetically slow method to transfer such large amounts of video from my phone to my PC, and Cloud methods are not really any better. So, for such situations I usually use a portable media device such as flash drive or external NVMe to do the transfer. Copy it from my phone to the flash drive, copy off of the drive onto my PC. Fastest method by far.I have lately been using a NVMe USB enclosure for this purpose, but due to NVMe’s (relatively) high power draw, I have to use a USB dongle with power input while making the transfer. Not the end of the world but far from convenient. In the past I have experimented with other USB-C drives, but they’ve all been far too slow in the write department to be realistic. You may have 300MB/s of read but if your write speed is a paltry 21-22MB/s, you’re as good as useless for me. This was the case for the older Samsung USB-A flash drives, and even the newer USB 3.1 gray ones.This one, by contrast, is still not amazing on writes which is to be expected for a traditional flash drive, but it is FAR better than any USB-C drives I have used in the past. On very large transfers (100+GB) it usually settles down to around 75-80MB/s within the first 30 seconds or so, and stays at that speed for the entire transfer. Doesn’t get too hot (just warm) and works well.Reads are excellent so far. On Windows I’m getting around 365MB/s continuously. The only real issue with this drive is on very large reads, it will overheat. It gets quite hot on these high speed reads and after around 75-80GB, mine disconnected and stopped the transfer. Thankfully Windows seems pretty good about file management and after it sits for a while and cools down, hitting Try Again seems to work reliably.Overall very happy with this drive. It’s pretty darn small for 256GB, and fast enough that I can deal with it for the convenience of not needing to use any dongles.

Almost 5 stars…
This is a great flashdrive that’s portable, operates at a great speed and with efficient use of storage capabilities and it’s offered with a cute blue face. The only issue I have in this purchase or this item at all is the lack of inclusion where a simple and cheap silver key ring would work wonders in allowing it to be more accessible when in need. Send me think I’m nitpicking in leaving this comment however I don’t think I am because I tried my own key rings and none of them fit the openings to the cap or the base of this Flashdrive. While not essential to function it is a constant reminder for how easy it is to misplace or flat out a loose this very compact and incredibly easy to overlook data source. I originally purchased this for a vacation and for needing quick memory back up but after just the first flight out I gave up and labeled this as a ‘home use only’ item because it kept getting lost in my bag.We have come a long way in technology but just as far as we’ve come leaves an even greater margin for human error I’m sure to fill and I’m not willing to risk.

Neat, fast, compact and reliable USB-C flash drive
I bought this flash drive a few months ago. It is an incomparable device. Compact, and very fast. I store full backups of my smartphone and tab on it. The design is great – beautiful and neat. There is an understanding that the fact that the body is not metal but plastic is not a minus. Because of this, the device is even lighter. It only weighs a few grams and that’s great. The quality of the outer casing is still excellent. The only thing I’m afraid of is losing that little lid. True, for this purpose there is a hole in the case and on the lid to put on a thin belt there.

Perfect fit what I needed
I’ve had photographs on my cell phone for years, each time I got a new phone, I was able to pull the micro SD card out and put it in my new phone. I’ve accumulated well over 10k photos. This new phone A Samsung Galaxy S21+ does not have an SD card port, so to access my photos I had to download them from my Google drive. The phone doesn’t have a big enough, whatever it’s called, cuz I was no longer able to update apps etc I was able to plug this into the type C port and transfer all my photos and files from my phone. Now, all I have to do is plug this device in and browse for the photo of files in needing. Lots of available space and it freed my phones storage space up dramatically. Highly recommended

Convenient – could use a strap – but write is too low.
I bought two of these – one for a client already booked who needed five days of video and photos unedited. I did not want to eat up 100GB on my Dropbox plus upload / download time for me and client. Project was in the Bay Area but they stay in Bangkok.In 2024 – write speeds slower than a decent SD card is painful. Copying GBs of files into these bad boys is painful.I would opt for even 150/read AND write (vs 400 read 50 write)I’ve considered some mid tiered SD cards but SD Card slots are a bit as scarce ad USB A C Dongle issues.If I cannot find a flash drive with decent write speeds though – SD cards might be my new delivery route.Also – though it has holes for the straps for a keychain or bracelet / necklace – it doesn’t come with one. Which is nice from a waste perspective – but I almost guarantee the top will get lost by the client but I suppose that’s not my responsibility after delivery.Still a clean looking delivery so still 4 stars since I did research the speeds and knew what I bought.

One of my favorite storage devices
While I tend to rely on cloud storage due to working on both Windows and Mac devices and it being easier to access files between the two that way, sometimes I find myself wanting to back up work on some kind of physical storage just to be extra safe. Larger files/programs usually end up on my external SSD (also Samsung) but everything else goes right onto this little guy. With 256GB of storage, it’s great for a TON of temporary or smaller files. The read/write speed is super quick and the whole thing fits conveniently into a small pocket in my laptop bag so I have it on hand whenever I might need it. For this particular use case it’s absolutely perfect and I would recommend it time and time again.

By far, THE BEST memory stick I have used yet!!!
This memory stick is the fastest and most convenient memory stick I have ever used! It copies data extremely fast, in comparison to EVERYTHING ELSE I have used! AND … it’s so dang small! I am going to order another one and set it up to be a “boot image” so I can boot off of one and see how it works as a full operating system on this thing!If I could change one thing …I’d like a way to have it hang on a neck chain, as a decorative ornament, a necklace charm, to have handy! Of course, it would have to be waterproof. But hey, I can dream, right?

It works well but has some problems
I use this to access media on my iPad, and while it’s fast and does work as advertised for the most part I have a few complains about it that doesn’t score this full 5-stars.(1) The biggest concern is the drive comes with a cap, and has built-in hole to attach some sort of tether so you don’t lose said cap, but lacks said tether in the box. Literally any piece of nylon string included would have been nice, but sadly I to acquire my own.(2) Advertised as shock proof; I don’t know if they mean you can drop it and it’s won’t break? If that’s the case sure that applied to any flash drive in the last 20 years. But if they mean the drive is re-enforced in any way, it’s not; when I put in my iPad and bumped it the connector bent immediately; the drive works still but it’s not that shock-proof.It’s a great USB drive but it’s not better than other big name company USB flash drives.

Really, really fast
Daughter used it to transfer files from her Mac to her PC and she said that the transfer speed was incredible. Our flash drives are typically five or more years old. This USB drive is more like an external SSD than the old flash drives. The price of $27 for 256 GB is also excellent. I hope that there are 1 TB drives out there someday.

Great product with a few exceptions!
I was really impressed of the speed on which I was able to download 11GB of image and movie files from my phone onto the drive. The first problem that I encountered was that the USB-C connector could have been longer. With my rubber cover on my phone, I could not attach it to my phone unless I removed the cover, so I got a USC-C extender, which allowed me to plug in this product and plug the extender in into the phone. My second issue is that when I copied files from the phone to the drive, it changed the date taken to the current date, which makes sorting thru the files more difficult. However, the download was considerably faster than other USB drives that I have used.

Great to back up
This is great for back up of pictures taken on my Samsung phone. Heard that it heats up while backing it up… and yes it does, but since read this, I prepared and use one of the fans while doing so. It is great, and gives me comfort to know I have the pictures are backed up.Do need to download an app to do file transfer, but that works smoothly.

Good product, slight inconvenience
My issue is that I have to take the protective cases off my iPads to use it because the top is wider than the opening on the cases. It just makes it a bit inconvenient. If I can find an extender with a smaller end I’ll be all set. The product itself works great and I like how compact it is.

Small but Powerfull
With my new Honda Prologue, I had to buy a replacement USB device to hold my favorite music – my old Honda used a USB D, the new one a C, I wanted something small and unobtrusive add unobtrusive – this fit the bill nicely.The only additional thing I had to do was reformat it as the Honda Prologue complained about supporting the format – after a less than 5 minute transfer of 32GB of music, I was good to go.

Solid performer yet poor engineering
My first USB-C flash drive. The first thing I noticed was its microscopic size. The protective cap detaches fully from the drive and is very easy to drop and lose. It does have holes for a lanyard and it would have been appreciated if Samsung provided this as their cost would be negligible. I improvised for the short term but for my next device I’ll probably shop for something whose design is more innovative.

It’s exactly what I wanted
It was perfect. It connected to my S22 UItra right away and transfered photos and videos much better than I could have expected. I definately recommend this to everyone looking for a SD Card replacement.
